I thought the way this was written out was a bit strange. It would have been much simpler to read if it was written in 6/8. I don't think they ever play F#m, the first time they only play F#5 and the melody only sings the 9 leaving it ambiguous and then they only play F#maj starting on bar 8, you can hear the E-piano playing a F# major triad.

EDIT: I had another listen and 6/8 just doesn't work for me. It feels like a waltz to me. So, I did re-write it, but in 3/4 with shuffle feel.
